Self-Defense 101 (ft. IMPACT Chicago)

The 1.5 hour Personal Safety Tools workshop is an introduction to Empowerment Self-Defense (ESD). This workshop incorporates discussion, activities, and exercises to explore Confidence, Awareness, Assessment of Distance, Voice, Stance, and Physical Techniques. It builds on what participants already know, and emphasizes the strengths they already have, to expand their range of choices - not only in threatening situations, but in everyday life. This is a registration required program for ages 12 and up. Please wear comfortable clothing.
