"Growing up in Chicago during the late 1960’s through the early 1980’s was a magical time in my life. I wrote this book as a way of memorializing those times and before my mind fails me and much of what I experienced is lost. Not being a professional writer this book is more of a summary of a 25 year period in my life that I had the pleasure of meeting so many good friends and families while at the same time living in a family of twelve, when men were men, women were women and the children knew the difference."
